ARE ALL 529's CREATED EQUALLY? At first thought
one might think so, given the fact that these entities are authorized by Congress and governed by the U.S.Tax Code, .....
and isn't the IRS supposed to treat everyone equally? Such a wonderful thought, but unfortunatly not all 529's are created
equally.
In 1996 the folks in Washington DC passed legislation setting in motion a program that can best be described
as ..... "The Financial Advisors Retirement Act"! Over time it could also prove very helpful, financially, to tax preparers,
who among others depend on regular legislative handouts from the highest levels of our government,
So much for my opinions!
The
process of selecting a plan can be extremely frustrating and expensive ..... so my hope with this, my first internet venture
is to be helpful in some small way to those seeking a truly independent source of discussion on a "two way street of 529 enlightment".
